Just wrapped up this modern farmhouse inspired DADU in Seattle! This project was all about maximizing space while keeping it bright, open, and functional. The exterior keeps it clean and timeless with white siding, black-trimmed windows, and warm wood fencing. Inside, we went with an open-concept layout, exposed wood beams, and plenty of natural light to make the space feel bigger than it is. The kitchen flows right into the living area, and those French doors open up to a private patio, making the most of the indoor-outdoor connection.
Upstairs, the vaulted ceilings give the bedroom an open, airy feel, and the bathroom brings in some contrast with bold black tile work and gold fixtures. The goal was to create something that feels modern but still warm and comfortable—efficient use of space without sacrificing design. Solid project with a clean, functional finish in a prime location just minutes from Golden Gardens, Ballard, and breathtaking Puget Sound views!
